We also offer a 5 week private wheel course, and small (1–6 person) one-time handbuilding workshops, glazing workshops, wheel lessons, individual open studio time, and day passes.
Handbuilding 6 Week Course
Beginner/Intermediate Level
Tuesday Evenings 7:00 - 9:30pm
April 1 - May 6
$420 per person
This 6 week class, taught by the incredible Diana Haro, welcomes students of all levels. We will cover handbuilding techniques including pinching, coiling, slab building, applying textures, use of equipment such as a slab roller and extruder, underglazing, glazing, and fundamentals of the life cycle and process of ceramics. More advanced students are welcome to work and receive guidance on their own personal projects. In addition to class lessons and demos, our instructor will work with students individually to explore and develop ideas and provide guidance for individual projects.
As a student you:
Will have your own shelf in the studio to store clay, tools, and projects. The course fee includes unlimited studio clay. (Additional clays can be purchased at the studio if desired.)
Can bring tools or purchase them from the studio for $15 on the first day of class, and should bring aprons and towels if desired.
Will have the option to book additional studio time at a discounted rate ($20 per hour) if you would like. Students will also have the opportunity to join the studio as a member after the course provided membership spots are available.
Please note:
All work must be completed or ready to go into the final glaze kiln by the end of the 6th week.
The student firing fee is $0.07 per cubic inch which covers the cost of bisque and glaze firing.

Private Wheel Throwing 5 - Week Course
Beginner - Intermediate Level
Meets weekly. Day and time TBD based on student preference, each class is 2.5 hours long.
This private (1 or 2 person) 5 week class welcomes students of all levels and will focus on advancing your wheel throwing skills through individual instruction. Glazing and the process of ceramics is also covered. During your first lesson your instructor will asses your skill level and tailor a syllabus to your goals. Sign up as an individual or with a friend!
Students will have their own shelf in the studio to store their clay, tools, and projects. The course fee includes unlimited studio clay and house glazes. (Additional clays can be purchased at the studio if desired.)
Students will get 4 open studio sessions (2 hours each) which will be scheduled and redeemed before the end of class.
Students must bring their own tools or purchase them from the studio for $15 on your first day of class.
The student firing fee is $0.06 per cubic inch which covers the cost of bisque and glaze firing
All work must be completed or ready to go into the final glaze kiln by the end of the last class.
Students will have the option to book additional studio time ($20 per hour) if they would like more than the allotted class time.

Workshops and Lessons
Our workshops and lessons include instruction, clay, tools, and your choice of glaze. Our staff will practice social distancing and safety during the workshops. Masks are required at all times. If a consecutive glazing workshop is not scheduled, our staff will glaze your piece for you. We will email you when your piece is ready for pickup.

$175 for one person, $55 per person after that (max of 6 people total)
Workshops are approximately 2 - 2.5 hours depending on the number of people.
Workshop includes firing fees for your project. Any additional pieces you make can be fired at our standard student rate of $0.06 per cubic inch.
Wheel Throwing:
One on one or couple’s lessons.
Try throwing for the first time or develop your skills.
$175 for one person, $230 for a couple
Workshops are 2.5 hours and includes the firing for 1 piece you make. If you would like to fire multiple pieces, you can pay our student firing fee ($0.06 per cubic inch).
Glazing Workshop*:
Would you like to learn how to glaze the pieces you made? This 1-1.5 hour workshop includes a lesson in glazing techniques, and the time and space to glaze your own pieces using our house glazes however you like.
$75 for one person, $30 per person after that (max of 6 people total)
*This workshop is only available to folks who are taking or have taken a hand building or wheel throwing workshop with us and would prefer to glaze their own pieces
*If it looks like more than 1.5 hours will be needed to glaze all of your pieces then open studio time can be added at $20 an hour per person
Open Studio:
If you already have ceramic experience, you’re welcome to come in to use the studio for the rate of $25 per hour ($30 per hour for nights and weekends) with a two hour minimum. Please reach out via our contact page with your preferred date/time so we can check availability. Includes all tools and glazes, but does not include clay (which can be purchased at the studio) or firing fees ($0.12 per cubic inch).
Day Pass:
If you already have ceramic experience, you’re welcome to book a day pass! Day passes include 6 hours of open studio time for you to come in to use the studio for handbuilding, wheel throwing, glazing, or a bit of everything. Day passes are $125 on weekdays and $140 on weekends. Please reach out via our contact page with your preferred date/time so we can check availability. Day passes include all tools and glazes, but do not include clay (which can be purchased at the studio) or firing fees.
